1. What is the purpose of this site?
Computer hardware and software are the new key ingredients for successful stock market trading, and the staff at DTT is dedicated to providing a site which showcases articles, book reviews, brokerage software reviews, and other information about stock market analysis tools and methods.
Now is an exciting time to be involved in stock market and options trading, as computers and software have provided individuals with an unprecedented level of control for managing and investing their own money.
For the tech-savvy investor, the days of relying solely on a dedicated financial advisor are over. Today the smart investor can seize a distinct advantage by choosing from a vast array of powerful tools which can help them make money in the stock market, options market, and commodities market. It doesn't matter if the market is going up or down or moving sideways. With the proper information and analysis tools, a winning trade can be made.
2. How often will the site be updated?
It is our hope that the forums will be self-sustaining as people participate in the various discussions. As for original content, it is our goal to publish at least one new original article per week.
In the future, we hope to offer more customizable user profiles and allow users to contribute articles. Until then, please continue to contribute to the site by posting comments to the articles and by participating in the forums.
3. Does the site cost anything to use?
Nope. The site is completely free to join and use.
4. What are the advantages to joining?
Online communities are just like regular communities. It's a place to find out what other people think and to make your opinions known. It's a place to build a reputation and perhaps to even show off a little bit.
By creating a user profile and partcipating in the forums, you can discuss issues with people who use the same software that you use or find out who has the best day-trading computer setup (i.e. your "Trading Rig"). It's our hope that questions will be asked and ideas will be shared.
