1. No personal attacks. This forum is intended for the serious discussion of investing tools. Debate is encouraged, but all users will be expected to be civilized and professional. Just because someone is wrong about something does not necessarily make them an idiot, so please hold back from making these types of comments. Entire posts will be deleted, so don't waste your great thought by including an unnecessary jab at someone. We all know how this quickly gets out of hand and degrades an otherwise useful discussion.
2. No spam. If you would like to post a link and it is relevant to the topic, it will be allowed. If you are posting material that seems promotional rather than opinionated, it will not be allowed.
3. Try to keep your post on-topic. If the section title is "Trading Software", it probably isn't the place to post your message about how XYZ pharmaceuticals just announced their clinical trial results. Unless you used a particular feature of your software to find the information, the post probably belongs somewhere else. In this forum, we'd rather hear about the merits of your trading software's cool news feature rather than the results of the clinical trial. Please try to find the proper forum and thread for your posts. If there isn't a thread appropriate for your post, you can start a new thread.
4. There is a "General" category for posts that don't fall into any of the other categories. If you would like to propose a new category, please CONTACT US and we'll consider it.
